Let’s be honest, high street fashion is pretty same-y. They pump out thousands of identical pieces and where’s the fun in that? And that’s before we’ve even looked at the ethics behind fast fashion which are sketchy at best.

Personally I find it pretty difficult to find fun clothes which are a little different, I’m always on the lookout for joyful, vibrant clothes with a bit of personality. I’ve never been one for beige. Flamingo Rodeo was born out of a love for colourful clothing, vintage finds with quirky patterns plus an intense hate for waste. Every piece of clothing I create is totally unique and one of a kind.

By buying an item of clothing from me you are giving a new lease of life to an existing piece which may well have been heading to landfill. By revamping an old piece of clothing we are reusing and repurposing an item rather than using precious resources to make something new. We currently have enough clothing to dress the next 6 generations of the human race.
